Students are required to take College and Career Success 101: Pathways to Success within their first two quarters, regardless of full- or part-time status.
The college may place a hold on registration for students who:
• Do not enroll their first quarter
• Have failed the class two times*
• Have not passed the class by the end of their second quarter
*Students who fail the course twice must meet with the Dean of Academic Success Programs, the Associate Dean of Counseling, Advising and Career Services, or their designee to create a plan for the student’s success at SPSCC. The student’s immediate enrollment future is contingent upon the outcome of this meeting.
