Purpose

Cultivates the mind-set and skills necessary for students to become confident, reflective, self-directing, and successful learners.

Applies to:

All SPSCC students seeking a for-credit certificate or degree.

It is the policy of South Puget Sound Community College that all certificate- and degree-seeking students will complete College and Career Success 101: Pathways to Success.

This policy applies to all students except those who:

  • Have passed an equivalent college success course
  • Transfer 30 or more college-level credits from any regionally accredited institution within their first quarter of enrollment, or
  • Have earned an Associate’s degree or higher from any regionally accredited institution
