To receive a religious accommodation for reasons of faith or conscience, students must request the accommodation in writing within the first two weeks of a course, and prior to the date the accommodation is needed. The student should coordinate with their instructor to determine reasonable accommodations.
If a student believes that the coordinated accommodations are insufficient, they may contact the division dean or the Title IX Coordinator. If a resolution cannot be reached, students should use the procedures outlined in the SPSCC Code of Students Rights and Responsibilities.
