Each professor is free to carry on discourse of ideas in the classroom without interference from trustees, college employees, volunteers, community members or students as long as no civil or criminal law violations have occurred. Faculty are obligated, however, to conduct courses to achieve the stated learning course outcomes approved by the South Puget Sound Instructional Council.
