Purpose

Cultivates the mind-set and skills necessary for students to become confident, reflective, self-directing, and successful learners.

Applies to:

All SPSCC students seeking a for-credit certificate or degree.

It is the policy of South Puget Sound Community College that all certificate- and degree-seeking students will complete College and Career Success 101: Pathways to Success. This policy applies to all students except those who:

Have passed an equivalent college success course

Transfer 30 or more college-level credits from any regionally accredited institution within their first quarter of enrollment, or

Have earned an Associate’s degree or higher from any regionally accredited institution

If you meet the above mentioned criteria please fill out and submit a waiver form. We will reach out to you once the form has been processed.
