Purpose:
South Puget Sound Community College's Governance Model is in place to clarify the structure by which policy, budget, and institutional management decisions are recommended and implemented. The Governance Flow Chart and the Councils and Committees membership document combine together to demonstrate structure and processes to ensure consultation and the consideration of the views of faculty, classified staff, administrative/exempt staff, and students on matters in which they have interest. The governance system supports the college's mission, values, strategic directions and learning outcomes.
