Applies to:

Faculty and administrators who seek to offer a course or program at South Puget Sound CC.

Purpose:

This policy is to ensure that South Puget Sound CC provides courses and programs that have appropriate content and rigor in meeting its mission and serving students in pre-college, academic transfer and professional and technical programs.

All for-credit program course, and syllabus documents must be approved by the instructional council and kept on file in the instruction office.

All credit programs approved by the Instructional Council of South Puget Sound Community College will be reviewed according to practices and criteria established by the Instructional Council.

All credit courses approved by the Instructional Council of South Puget Sound Community College will be reviewed by the Course Review Committee every five years.

Syllabi will be reviewed by the Course Review Committee according to practices and criteria established by the Instructional Council.
