Washington residents pay regular in-state tuition. A resident student is one who has been living in the state of Washington for at least one year prior to the commencement of the quarter for which the student has registered, and has established an intention to become a bona fide resident of the state for other than educational purposes. Special consideration is given to military personnel, recent veterans, their spouses and dependents, refugees and undocumented students who graduated high or the equivalent in Washington State.
Tuition and fees are due approximately three weeks before the start of the quarter. Actual dates will be posted online and at the One Stop in Building 22. Tuition rates are set by the Legislature. Current tuition rates and due dates are published each quarter online, see Funding & Costs. The college charges additional fees to support the enhancement of student learning and the student experience. These fees and the current amounts charged can be accessed on our Tuition & Fees page.
The college participates in state mandatory tuition waivers and only those optional waivers authorized by the Board of Trustees.
