It is the policy of South Puget Sound Community College to clearly and effectively communicate college policies, procedures, events and activities to the public and internal college community as deemed necessary or appropriate by the Board of Trustees, and as such communication applies to accomplishing the mission of the college. All publications, messaging, announcements or electronic information shall adhere to definitions as put forth by WAC 131-276-020. It shall be the policy of the college for its representatives to publicly display conduct that is aligned with accomplishment of the college’s mission and consistent in message with all communications on behalf of the college.
All college publications and electronic communications shall be periodically reviewed for the purpose of maintaining informational integrity, assuring the programs and services of the college are consistently represented and that messaging accurately reflects or interprets the college's mission.
